1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optionally your Discord account identifier if you choose to link it. When you make a purchase, our payment processor (Stripe) handles all payment details — we never see or store card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain your account and licence keys
- To process orders and deliver digital products
- To respond to support tickets
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, key delivery)
- To enforce our terms of service and prevent abuse
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored in our self-hosted database. Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Session tokens are stored as httpOnly cookies. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Hardware Identifiers
Our licence system collects a hardware fingerprint (HWID) when you activate a key. This is used solely to enforce per-machine licensing. HWIDs are stored as hashes and cannot be used to identify your personal hardware configuration.
5. Discord Integration
If you link your Discord account, we store your Discord user ID and username. This is used to grant customer roles in our Discord server and to link support tickets. You can unlink your Discord account at any time from your dashboard.
6. Cookies
We use an essential session cookie (vc_session) to keep you logged in and a first-party visitor cookie (oce_vid) to measure aggregate page traffic. The visitor cookie contains a random signed identifier, not your IP address or account ID. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell analytics data.
7. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial record-keeping purposes. First-party page-visit records are automatically removed after 400 days.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by opening a support ticket or emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
